Bios

Brett Coker

Brett Coker has over 30 years of successful retail dealership and consulting experience in all areas of dealership operation. He has served as service manager, sales manager, F&I manager, general sales manager, and general manager with numerous franchises (Pontiac, Mazda, GMC, Cadillac, Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi, and Buick).

As vice-president of Automotive Service Consultants (ASC), Mr. Coker developed and implemented numerous consulting programs for Oldsmobile, Buick, Cadillac, Hyundai, and Saturn as well as consulting services for hundreds of dealerships in the U.S. and Canada. He has performed innumerable workshops, seminars, 20-group meetings and wrote and starred in a series of broadcasts for ASTN. He also hired, trained and managed over 30 fixed-operations consultants before starting his own consulting company.

Mr. Coker attended Wake Forest University, has CMC accreditation with the Institute of Management Consultants, attended the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy, and is a recognized author for many national automotive publications.

Mr. Coker is president of Coker Automotive Consultants, has produced over 100 fixed operations training videos, and is a recognized 20-group moderator.





David Martin

You may have seen David first as the presenter of the Success-One Idea at a Time weekly sales training series, co-authored by partner Richard Keeney. While David still contributes his talent to the Success line of Video, Audio and Online training products, he is most at home sharing his style and expertise live in dealerships. You only have to experience one of his presentations to see why.

As President and co-founder, David brings over 34 years of retail Sales, Training and Management experience to The Mar-Kee Group.

He has welcomed the opportunity to address the NADA Convention in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 and is proud to have been named the #1 speaker at four (4) Australian Auto Dealers Conventions. He continues to appear regularly at 20 Group and other Industry Association meetings both nationally and internationally.





Richard Keeney

Richard Keeney, co-founder of The Mar-Kee group has over 30 years of Training, Sales and Management experience. Richard brings a wealth of practical skills and knowledge to each of our clients and a keen understanding of how to make it all "click" to achieve the Success your store deserves.
